Wow...it was a long read. Well I read it and it sounds like a discussion about the Cry engine being optimized for PC, 360 and ps3. It talks about PC to 360 is easy but to ps3 is difficult but they are dedicated to making a custom cry engine that will work and use the spe's. So if its true it sounds like good news for everyone.
Is the hard drive for the ps3 detatchable or do you have to open it up? Because I don't see casual gamers opening up their ps3 to install new hardware. I know that the 360 hard drive is more like a lab top hard drive so it is more expensive. But they have to release bigger hard drives and more affordable options.
I agree. I'm sure they will release a bigger drive and drop the price of the 20 gig drive. They really have no choice now with ps3 coming out in November. Thats why competition is good. The good part is I download everything and have an extensive music collection on my hard drive and haven't even came close to running out of space yet. I just like the fact of transfering files to my computer easy.

How will you transfer info from one drive to the other? Game files and other info? P.S. Hard drive space isn't an issue for any 360 owner that has a computer. I tranfser files to my computer hard drives all the time.

People like you and me actually get the best of both but have our own personal preference. I think I recall you saying you have an xbox 360. And I do plan on getting a ps3. You are dissappointed with some of MS's choices and I'm dissappointed with some of Sony's choices. But we both will get to experience the best that both have to offer. Respect.
I can respect that. You are right its 500 to jump in. But me, I would never jump in for 500 due to the fact that its not upgradable. That bothers me about that particular version. I can't upgrade to HDMI. I can't upgrade to the missing features. But your right...none of the missing features affect gaming....unless you have an hd tv. HDMI does offer a better cleaner picture than componant. But not noticalbe to most people.

Well because there are a lot of madden heads. 3 of the top 20 selling games of all time for the ps2 were EA sports titles. lol....Its a huge market. If they are successful selling it for 600 you can expect then next gen to be even more expensive. Let the computers keep upgrading and being cutting edge. EA made me so mad with that BS buy out. I always liked 2k better than madden. But now I have no choice but to play madden. I love football too much to just not play no football game.
